  1. I think it was Joe who mentioned the “broken” sound in Hyolyn’s voice. I agree with his assessment, I like to call this the “sick” voice. Do you ever wake up with that tickle in the back of your throat, a nose full of all-too-familiar and burdensome sludge? It sucks, right up until you start talking to someone, which is when you realize your voice somehow became sexier overnight than you ever thought possible. For Hyolyn, this is active all the time.
